O LORD Remember Now

I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore. (2 Kings 20:3)

Upon hearing the word of God to prepare his house to die, Hezekiah quickly made a position. He began to put God in remembrance of some of the good things that he had done, some of the faithful duties that he had performed. I envision Hezekiah saying O LORD, remember now God, I was not always messed up. Don’t you remember when I tore down the altars of Baal, and made the people began to worship you again. Risky Business

Mark 5:39-40

As Jesus arrives to Jairus’ house, He finds a big fuss and people crying. He tells them why make this commotion and weep, the child is not dead, but sleeping. And they laughed Him to scorn. In essence, they ridiculed Him. Friends, when you start talking like this, telling people you believe that your God can heal cancer, diabetes and HIV aids, that your God can deliver from sexual perversion and even raise the dead, you will be ridiculed.
